. . . we aren't bidding on the house with the 2 offers. We have decided to live outside Omaha because we can get a really good deal on a mortgage if we are in an area deemed "rural". I personally wouldn't consider 15 minutes outside of Omaha rural, but if the people that hand out the mortgages want to say that it is, it's fine by me!
So we are now looking at 2 houses in a rural town. The first house is pretty great, and the second house is the house we will probably buy. We won't find out for a few more days if we can even bid on the first house, and hopefully no one else will have made an offer on it by then. The other house is nice, although smaller, and would need a little work to jazz it up. So say a little prayer that we can get the dream house. I don't want to post pictures of anything until we actually know what is going on. But pray. Please pray.

Oh, Torey...I have a feeling everything will work out perfectly for you guys (and soon!). You have to believe that things will happen the way they were "meant to be". Just imagine where we would be if we'd moved into that house on Prentis last year...our lives would be SO different!!! Just have faith and watch everything fall into place...I KNOW it will! You guys will stumble across your dream house soon and you will just KNOW it's perfect the second you walk through the doors.
Leaving our apartment today was just crazy...I was so excited to be going to OUR HOUSE, but so sad to be leaving that apartment behind. We brought two babies home to that apartment...we celebrated so many birthdays and anniversaries and accomplishments at school. It will always hold a special little place in my heart, even though we outgrew it to the point that I was losing my mind!!! ;c) lol We're going to Sioux City tomorrow morning to do a really fast Target-run before my parents show up, then it's going to be a BUSY day of unpacking and getting settled. I'm thinking that later this week, when things are less chaotic, we'll have to do a Cervantes-Cole-Krogman pizza night or something to break in the house. We'll still be in and out of the apartment tomorrow, so if you see us, PLEASE stop by and say "hi"!!
How's it going?! Thanks again for the help on Saturday. We still haven't heard anything from the bank on our offer. Will keep you posted. All this craziness in life has really had me thinking about the things that are really important and all the blessings we have. Our health. Our families. Jobs in this crazy economy... will keep you in our prayers.
