Countering the Counter-offer

The sellers of the house rejected our initial offer. Oh well. Can't say we were too surprised. After all these are people who refused to paint their neon green house before they put it on the market - which is why the house is still neon green right now. So they countered, sort-of, and we countered back. They should have a response for us by tonight. If they counter again, do we counter-offer the counter-offer's counter-offer? Craziness.

It's a little bit fun and a lot of frustration, but hopefully we will know where we are moving in the next 24 hours. Keep your fingers crossed. And say a prayer. The prayer will probably help us more than crossed fingers. ;) Thanks!

We counter-offered the counter offer twice. Does that make sense?! lol From what I heard, the sellers are being a little unreasonable and you definitely need to let them know that you're not just going to "give in" to them...but you don't want to push it too far and end up losing the whole deal. It's a really fine line, and without having any face-to-face communication with the seller, it's SO hard to know what they're actually thinking! This is tough stuff! GOOD LUCK! I'm glad you're keeping everything up-to-date here. We're definitely rooting for you guys! :c)
